Flash, BOOM!

So. Yesterday was interesting.

Grandma's in the hospital again. Might be put into a nursing home temporarily. What fun. I guess get to look at the possibility of having the house to myself for the next couple weeks. Whee.

Um.. Wicked ass storms last night. Had to drive through it on the freeway. Sucked ass being forced down to driving 30mph on a 70mph because ya can't see in front of you...

Awesome lightning though. Such a great show. It never stopped. It was like a rave, expanded to all of central Indiana, and while there was no music or dancing folks on E, there was the thunder to simulate the bassline.

My modem on my main PC blew up, though. Was online, there was a really bright, quick flash of lightning... By experience, I knew that it meant for a loud thunderclap.

Fucking sounded like someone blew up a house right next to me. Stunned me for a sec. It rocked the walls and shook the house. Probably the loudest, if not one of the loudest, thunderclaps I have ever heard in my life. It was intense. I also lost my net connection at that point. Decided my modem blew up, since it's dial tones sound more like static now. Oh well. I got this POS 100mhz Pentium PC sitting under my TV as a sort of stand... How lucky that it's internet capable. No big loss, though. I'm gettin' DSL in.. 5 days.

Wore a suit yesterday. Nice suit and rainy weather aren't the best combinations, but whatever. It was my sis' graduation and I was the best dressed one there. I felt/looked pretty damned spiffy.

Been.. Thinkin' too much again. Indy gives too much time on my hands. Ah well.
